Meet Milan: Shipfusion’s New VP of Growth

We’re always expanding and developing our wonderful team. We are pleased to welcome Milan Malivuk as our new VP of Growth. Check out our Q&A below to find out more about him. 

What has your career this far looked like in the tech industry?

It’s been pretty unconventional actually. I’ve been a part of a pretty wide array of businesses from tech companies that I founded, to a couple of ecommerce businesses that I ran importing goods and building the ecommerce and marketing functions.

I wore a lot of hats and have been involved in everything from coding, to sales, marketing, product, and support — which gave me a great base of context to draw on and look at businesses, not as these individual siloed functions, but rather parts of the same thing. I ended up going deeper into tech with larger organizations and have been really lucky to be a part of some great teams in a bunch of different verticals, from membership management software, to marketing automation, as well as festivals and live events.

Most recently I was the Chief Strategy Officer at Intellitix, which is the leading global provider of RFID access control and cashless payments technology for live events. There we worked with clients such as Coachella, Tomorrowland, Comic-Con, the Rio Open, and it was great to be able to go to these events and see hundreds of thousands of people using our technology.

What plans do you see for Shipfusion? 

Seeing the huge positive impact we’re able to deliver to our clients, and really helping these businesses, not just navigate the complexities of getting their products in the hands of their customers, but actually thrive and grow is amazing. It makes it kind of easy for me in that sense because the plan is simple really: to help more businesses achieve those same results, be more efficient, reduce their costs, and deliver an amazing experience to their customers as they grow.

What are you most excited about in your new role?

The sheer potential for impact. In Shipfusion I see an incredibly driven and talented team that has stopped at nothing to provide the best solution to our customers. Not just from a software point-of-view, but all the moving parts, from our warehouse, support, and operations teams. Then I look at the wonderful feedback and reviews from our clients saying how much Shipfusion has been able to help them scale their business, and I just can’t help but get excited about being able to bring such a great offering to the rest of the market knowing that it’s backed up by a world-class team and real results for our clients.

I’ve never been a social media person, I’ve never even had a Facebook account.
