We’re constantly expanding and developing our wonderful team. We pride ourselves on being a company that promotes within and, with this in mind, are pleased to welcome the promotion of Marisela Diaz, as she transitions into her new role from Fulfillment Associate to a Client Support Specialist.
Marisela joined us at Shipfusion three years ago, having worked on the other side of the business as a Fulfillment Associate. She quickly demonstrated her abilities as a strong team member of Shipfusion, so when the position of Client Support Specialist came up, she seemed like a very natural fit. Marisela will work with clients and manage their needs from our head office.

1. What has your career this far looked like in the tech industry?
The Tech Industry has offered me an excellent work-life balance. So far, it’s been a different change of scene for me, but I like challenges where I can continue to improve both personally and professionally.
2. What plans do you see for Shipfusion?
I’m excited to be a part of the client-facing side of Shipfusion since I’ve been working in the warehouse operation team for the last three years. I see the amazing growth that Shipfusion has had over the last 18 months during Covid; from growing the team to bringing on some heavy-hitter clients– it only goes up from here!
What are you most excited about in your new role?
I’m excited to see the other side of Shipfusion that I have never experienced in the almost three years I have been here. I understand what clients need from the warehouse side and how to be successful in creating a streamlined fulfillment process; now I am looking forward to dealing with clients on the bigger picture and understanding processes to give clients the most out of Shipfusion’s services.
Tell me how you moved up into the head office, and the experience you’re bringing into your new role from your past position as a fulfillment associate?
I started as a fulfillment associate back in the first Chicago warehouse as a picker/packer. Once I was in the new Chicago warehouse, I was promoted to Lead Fulfillment Associate. I learned how to handle inventory and make sure orders were going out in a timely manner and correctly. I did learn about how every department and how the warehouse is run, including all the problems that can arise within the warehouse. I am excited to bring my knowledge of the processes and roles of operations into the Support Team.
