What has your career this far looked like in the tech industry?
I previously worked for a large global tech giant in software sales. Being in such a fast-paced and constantly changing environment has sharpened my sales skills and made me more adaptive and agile in working with the sales team. I had the privilege of working alongside brilliant thought leaders in the industry, gaining invaluable insight and knowledge along the way. Shifting into the logistics industry through the prism of tech represents the next chapter of my career, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store.
What plans do you see for Shipfusion?
As an Account Executive, the plans I see for Shipfusion are around ramping up and building out the sales division. In my view, there is potential everywhere to expand more and gain significant market share. Untapped markets are waiting to be explored, and to someone who thrives in sales, it’s like putting a kid in a candy store.
What are you most excited about in your new role?
I’m excited to bring my experience working for large multinational corporations in logistics and tech to this role. Shipfusion is effectively half a tech company and half a logistics company, so I believe my previous experience is a perfect marriage for the company as it continues its impressive growth trajectory. Getting in on the ground floor and making a demonstrable impact as this rocket ship blasts into the stratosphere are things that get me super excited to go to work every day!
